Welcome to Schulenburg ISD

Welcome to Schulenburg ISD and to the 2016/2017 School Year.  The Board of Trustees, Superintendent, students, staff, and community together hope that you and your family will consider us for your next school home.  We are a rural community located almost equidistant between San Antonio and Houston on Interstate 10.  Our rolling hills, trees and warm days make Schulenburg a great place to live and raise a family.

We are very proud of the traditions established within the academic arena and extracurricular activities that lend to the rich history of Schulenburg ISD.  We are fortunate to have low staff-to-student ratio and community support in all that we do.  Our staff is student centered first and foremost and expects 110% effort from all members of the team.

We invite you to call our central office at 979-743-3448, where someone will always be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Catch the Spirit!

We are a weather aware school and use SchoolWay as one way to notify our community of weather related announcements. If you have not had a chance to download the free app from the app store, do it today! You will receive instant push notifications from our district and/or schools. See www.myschoolway.com/Schulenburg for more information.

Schulenburg ISD District of Innovation Plan
District of Innovation

There will be a public presentation of the District of Innovation Plan on Monday, April 3rd, at 5 pm in the Secondary Library.

In order to best serve our students and align learning to district goals, Schulenburg ISD is seeking to become a District of Innovation.  This distinction provides opportunities for increased local control over district operations and increased flexibility in academic programming to positively impact student achievement.
